B4NZ are delighted to be taking part in the Innovation Zero World Congress 2025 taking place in London on 29 & 30 April.

Our CEO, Heather Buchanan, will be taking part in a panel session on Innovative Financing Models for Green Builds where panellists will discuss how green mortgages and alternative lending and insurance models are providing the necessary funds for net zero residential builds, and reducing the high upfront costs for homeowners and borrowers. The session will investigate the regulatory and policy and barriers, increasing awareness and education, and overcoming issues including appraisals, valuations and loan approvals. Heather will be speaking alongside Ryan Jude, Programme Director at the Green Finance Institute and Pete Gladwell, Group Social Impact & Investment Director, Legal & General, and Member of the Board of Directors, Legal & General Affordable Homes.

Our COO, Hannah Cool, will also be taking part in a panel session titled The Green Renaissance: Embedding Nature into Corporate Strategy. With incoming regulations such as the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) set to take effect over the next few years, companies are starting to wake up and recognise their dependence on natural ecosystems. Despite this, nature remains a neglected priority for many organisations. In our final session, we will uncover the benefits of integrating nature into corporate strategy and explore how innovation is enabling this transformative shift. Join us in embracing the green renaissance and embarking on a path to a resilient and prosperous future. Hannah will be joined for this discussion by Danielle Mulder, Director of Sustainability at the BBC, and Norah Berk, Senior Programme Manager in Nature at the IIGCC.
